Rhachelle Nicol’ of Northern, California is the proud owner of Mad Joy Candles. She began her journey in the e-commerce space as the owner of RN Brand & Design where she’s spent over ten years in the t-shirt industry and teaching other creative entrepreneurs how to create products for their personal brands.
Popularly known for one of her most famous t-shirt quotes, “I show my scars so that others know they can heal”. Rhachelle Nicol’ continues to use her story of surviving homelessness and domestic violence while shining her light in dark places. “After you’ve fought for peace, love and joy you refuse to allow anything or anyone to take it away...that’s Mad Joy!”
It may surprise you to know that the Mad Joy brand started in 2016 as another t-shirt venture. But while left alone with her thoughts and busy schedule during quarantine, Rhachelle Nicol’ began to use candles as a mood enhancer. Teleworking, home-schooling her children and creating simultaneously all of a sudden seemed possible. Eventually, the Mad Joy candle line was born and it has allowed her to continue to fulfil her purpose: spreading joy to others through her creations. Remember, Mad Joy Candles is more than another candle company. It is a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is always a little bit of light; inspired by everything that brings you Joy!
